Join us for a special Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief training event hosted at Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church on Saturday, May 9. This focused training is designed to help current volunteers receive recertification and to equip new volunteers to get involved quickly and effectively in disaster relief efforts.
The day will begin with registration at 8:30 AM, followed by an introduction session at 9:00 AM. A light lunch will be provided, and the afternoon will include a recovery ministry session before dismissal at 3:00 PM.
This training will specifically cover Disaster Relief introduction, credentialing, and the recovery ministry area. While it is not a full training covering every ministry area, it offers a valuable opportunity to step into meaningful service and be prepared to respond when needs arise.
Whether you are returning to serve or looking to get involved for the first time, this event is a great next step in being the hands and feet of Christ in times of crisis.
